Forest Portal
The Forest Portal is the digital hub for collaboration on your forest. The dialogue with your local forester is the most important, but with the Forest Portal, you and the forester have one place where all important data and information about the forest and its management are gathered. You can access the Forest Portal whenever and wherever you want, from a computer, tablet or smartphone.
More time in the forest – less in the office
Always updated – always available
The Forest Portal has been an integral part of our collaboration with forest owners since the first Forest Portal was launched in 2013.
All information in one place
If you have a green management plan, it will of course be on your Forest Portal. The same goes for activity plans, budgets, contracts, subsidy documents, insurance papers, meeting minutes, etc.
Likewise, your annual Forest Data Overview with all the key figures for your forest. The Forest Portal gathers all information about your forest, so you can always access information wherever and whenever you want.
The forest owner’s digital Swiss Army knife
How is the newly planted culture doing? What does the spruce stand look like after thinning?
The Forest Portal is a great tool for collaboration on forest management, where you and your forester can save and share pictures and videos from the forest.
If there are multiple people involved in the forest, you can all see and download the pictures.
On the Forest Portal, you will find current and relevant news about forestry, nature, hunting, and news from Dalgas’s other business areas.
If you wish, you can receive an email when there are news or other new information on your Forest Portal.
Access to the Forest Portal is via a secure personal login.
An optional number of users can be associated with each having their own login to the same Forest Portal. Ideal for family or company-owned forests and for municipal forests with multiple colleagues in management.
No matter how many forest properties you have, the Forest Portal easily handles this. You decide whether you want separate portals for each property or if you want all forests on one portal – with one login.
Take your forest with you
Through your Forest Portal at Dalgas, you can open your always updated forest map directly on your smartphone or tablet. You can see your own position on the map, find all stand data, save notes with pictures – and choose to share them with your forester.
If you are interested in hunting, you can draw your own hunting map with drives, hunting towers, stalking paths, drive chains, etc. You can also always print the various maps and stand lists if you want a physical copy.
We keep track of your risk trees
Your forester regularly inspects the forest and registers any risk trees*. The trees are easily and securely registered with an app. Pictures, GPS position, and all relevant information are collected for each tree. Everything is saved and displayed on the Forest Portal.
This registration is your documentation that you comply with your inspection obligation as a forest owner. It is also the basis for the dialogue between you and your forester about what should happen with the individual trees. The trees can easily be found again via the built-in GPS function in the overview map. Easy directly on your mobile.
*Part of a cooperation agreement for private forest owners. Can be purchased for all other agreements.
Track the forest’s numbers and certificates
If you have chosen a forest account or a forest account as part of your agreement, you can easily and quickly find the information on the Forest Portal.
PDF files can be easily downloaded and shared with, for example, your accountant, who can also get access to your Forest Portal if preferred.
Previous accounts that are saved can always be retrieved and support transparency in our collaboration.
How much is my forest growing?
How much CO2 has my forest absorbed? How many cubic meters has my forest grown this year so far?*
- On the front page of the Forest Portal, you will always find up-to-date figures on the forest’s CO2 sequestration and growth.
- If you produce roundwood and wood chips, you can also follow this year’s production so far via the key figures on the front page.
The details can be found in the forest account or forest account. Of course, also on the Forest Portal.
*Requires forest account, account, and/or forest map.
