Climate, biodiversity and circular bioeconomy
We are known as a professional beacon that takes responsibility for developing new and better solutions within, among other areas, circular bioeconomy, while also providing responsible, nature-based solutions—often with a focus on achieving CO2 binding or reductions.
With our three strategic focus areas, we make an extraordinary effort to reduce our climate footprint, increase biodiversity, and ensure sustainable recycling.
Engaged and proactive employees
The employees at Dalgas play the most significant role as we aim for natural growth in our strategy. Therefore, we focus on the continuous development of our employees to ensure skill enhancement and a high degree of well-being.
With our strategy, we seek to integrate our business across sectors so that we can offer holistic solutions to private companies, forest owners, organisations, and the public sector. This also places demands on the competencies of our employees, who are often specialists in specific areas. At Dalgas, we have five management principles that together ensure an attractive and safe workplace based on good leadership.
Our 5 management principles
You set clear effort goals—not just outcome goals. The goals are followed up through a clear structure for each individual (including via 1:1 meetings).
You manage to prioritize tasks—both for yourself and your employees. Active choices to refrain from certain tasks are just as important as those to take them on.
You contribute openly to the decision-making process (even in case of disagreement), but you are conversely loyal to decisions once they are made—‘then it is our decision.’
You express enthusiasm and joy. You acknowledge the good efforts and contribute with great energy—it MUST (also) be fun to go to work.
You manage to create development, motivation, and well-being based on the individual (your leadership is built on trust, openness, and respect).

HedeDanmark changes name to Dalgas
Hedeselskabet is now uniting all its business units under one name. Therefore, HedeDanmark and all its sub-brands will change their names to Dalgas, after the founder Enrico Dalgas.HedeDanmark reorganises its Forest Division
